THE RIP
With ASL Gear's RIP, Remote Interface Panel, RED ONE® users can now plug full size XLR and BNC cables directly into their RED ONE® without the need for adapters. Users can also get Genlock and Timecode functions via the BNC panel.
The RIP provides quick and easy access to the RED ONE’s I/O interface. The RIP easily attaches to the connector side of the camera and can be used in Stand Alone Mode, or with the RIB, the Remote Interface Break-out box (optional - see below).
Once attached, the RIP fits in so seemlessly with the appearance of the RED ONE camera body that one would think it had come with the camera.

THE RIB
The RIB, Remote Interface Break-out box, is designed to work with the RIP panel. The RIB quickly connects by a single DVI-I cable to the RIP panel once the RIP is attached to the RED ONE® Camera. By using the RIB, all of the audio, video, time-code, and remote start features can now be utilized remotely up to 50' away from the camera.
Why have all the cables, the hanging spaghetti, attached to your RED ONE® when with one DVI-I cable you can have all of your audio and video inputs and outputs from 3-ft to 50-ft away from your camera? Plus it provides the user with remote start/stop (ideal for a camera crane) and the ability to monitor audio.
With the single DVI-I cable, you can quickly disconnect which is ideal for camera repos, reconfigurations, and run-and-gun type shooting.

This unique splashbag will be able to be used with the RED ONE®, HDCAMs, XDCAMs, P2 HD Cameras and many others safely to depths of 1-8 feet underwater.
The T-bag will have an adjustable camera plate for use on a tripod or camera crane, a shoulder mount for handheld use, adjustable operator handles, video/audio inputs and outputs, and full lens controls.
