Michael Gordon is entering his 10th year in the television and music industry. Originally from Virginia, he moved up to NYC during his final year in college.
Michael started his career in New York City as an intern at MTV. He then worked with MTV a couple of years, before beginning his freelance career with companies such as ESPN, Wave Entertainment, NBA Entertainment, The NFL Network, The Tennis Channel and various record companies.
Michael sharpened his skills as a photographer and also learned to edit features on the non-linear platform. He followed his passion with cameras and started shooting video as well as playing with POV cameras. Along the way he has been nominated for a sports Emmy for his work as a member of the tech team remote as a POV camera producer for the ESPN X-Games. Michael has covered a wide arena of events such as college, professional and alternative sports, as well as concerts.
Michael is very interested in working in HD whether it is with music videos, commercials or films. He is extremely energetic which is portrayed in his style of work. With a good cup of coffee in the morning he can work forever. Make sure you have a lot of sugar for his coffee, that’s the key!
Michael directed and produced a full-length horror feature which should be in theaters in the summer or fall of 2011.
