After working as a freelance photographer and videographer for several years, Anne Jo Lee decided that a college degree was a necessary component to being successful in an industry that is so rapidly expanding and developing. In 2000, she attended Rockport College in Rockport, Maine. There she received several credits in specific intensive studies of photography and film. Always fascinated by the technical aspects, as well as the creative side of storytelling Anne Jo Lee continued her education. Full Sail, an engineering school in Orlando, FL, gave Anne the opportunity to learn in a “hands on” approach, supplying her with access to all of the newest and most widely used gear in the industry. She graduated with honors as a Bachelor of Science, majoring in film.
The camera department is usually where you would find Anne Jo Lee, as an operator or a technician. Equipped with an XDCAM, Anne prefers the pace and excitement of ENG style shooting but also has worked in sound stages and studios. She is a NAUI Certified scuba diver and ASL has given her the opportunity to learn more about underwater cinematography. With these skills combined, Anne is ready to travel to any location.
Anne Jo Lee’s knowledge of the technical aspect of shooting has been a huge benefit to her as a producer. She was the Producer of Promotions for the Daily Buzz, a nationally syndicated morning news show. Anne also co-pr oduced a feature length action film, as well as produced a feature length documentary, several commercials, web promotions, and music videos. Anne is currently the producer of a feature length film for ASL, the majority of it being shot underwater in High Definition.
Anne Jo Lee has exceptional skills in communication, is well organized, and has the ability to create rapport and work with all types of people. It is through her education, persistence, passion, and dedication that Anne is able to manifest an abundance of projects that are creative, as well as artistic and educational, to devote her time and energy to.
