The Scubacam Splashbag housing is a fully submersible, versatile splashbag custom made for use with a wide range of different cameras. It comes with a 3G-SDI waterproof, external 5.5″ viewfinder monitor which is powered from a D-Tap either off of the camera’s battery or off of a separate battery inside the splashbag. Compatible with cameras such as: the Alexa Mini, Mini LF, Red DSMC2’s, and Komodo all with short lenses. The monitor has a BNC connector inside the splashbag. Optionally available a-la-carte are 30m cables for an HD-SDI surface feed and Arri WCU-4 LCS. Inside the housing are the respective connectors for connections to the camera, etc. There is a also quick release camera riser base-plate with 15 or 19mm rods capability. On the external bottom, there is a plate with threaded taps for mounting the included wrap-around handle bar assembly or to an underwater lowboy/high hat or remote head, jib etc. There’s also an adjustable air release valve which variably releases internal air to allow for controlled submerging. Internally located audible leak alarm powered by a standard 9v battery.
