The Scubacam housing is a fully submersible, versatile splashbag custom made for use with a wide range of different cameras. It comes with a 3G-SDI waterproof, external 5.6″ viewfinder monitor which is powered from a D-Tap either off of the camera’s battery or off of a seperate battery inside the splashbag. The monitor has a BNC connector inside the splashbag. Optionally available a-la-carte are 30m cables for an HD-SDI surface feed, Preston LCS Input and and Ethernet Input for ARRI cameras; inside the housing are the respective connectors for connections to the camera, etc. There is a also quick release camera plate with 19mm rod holder inside the housing as well as an external, bottom plate with threaded taps for mounting the included wrap-around handle bar assembly or to an underwater lowboy/high hat or remote head, jib etc. The housing also has an optional Air Jet System for blowing water from the front glass port(requires a separate air supply and hose/regulator setup for a scuba tank or compressed air source). There’s also an adjustable air release valve which variably releases internal air to allow for controlled submerging. There’s also a French flag eyebrow included. Internally located audible leak alarm powered by a standard 9v battery.
